Her happy. His precious.

Day 8
Eighth day. Phew! A few days more now! Not bad, she kept herself busy and was able to do whatever she wanted to. She had all the time and all the resources. Courtesy- Him. Caring partners are hard to find and nurturing such a relationship has to be both sided. Even the tiny winy act of care, concern does not ever go unnoticed in a relationship. It still manages to create ripples. And that’s what he did. He successfully created a happy wave in her heart. He made sure that she did not lack any important ingredient to make her salty life sweet for a period of 14 days. She is a happy person and he is her happy. *Together forever*
State of mind- She is taking care of his precious. Herself.

Date night!

Day 7
Major part of the day was spent lazying around.
Mood-off. Spirit-low. And mind-turned off.
Watching TV, she would often doze off. And scare of spiders and lizards would often haunt her in her dreams as well.
She woke up feeling dizzy and went to the kitchen to fetch something to eat. She loves her long locks but she hates it when a strand brushes against her arm and makes her believe that the hideous slimy creature is crawling on her body.
So she spent the day wishing he was here. Nothing unusual.
She did go out for a walk and saw notorious monkeys playing and cute innocent dogs walking around aimlessly.
In these few days, she has learnt that mood is like a magnet, it attracts your present thoughts.
So it is a happy movie date tonight. J

State of mind- Do not disturb!

Thank you weather!

Day 6
Days are becoming monotonous for her now. The only light showing her a path is the hope of seeing him soon.
The maid did not come today so she took over the role for a day. After all it’s his empire, her treasure and their loving abode. It is her duty to keep their love nest shining as bright as their love!
She never believed in the saying- Distance makes the heart become fonder-until today. She went out to breathe some fresh air later in the evening and came back walking down the memory lane. After coming back, she lived the precious moments of her wedding in 33 minutes 49 seconds. Thanks pen drive for storing so much of fond memories in your tiny, petite body!
So, for a change, she was not alone today. The weather was also pretty intense today just like her mood. The sky above was roaring to acknowledge its presence; the stars seemed to twinkle in support. The moon, behind the fluttering leaves and with its little imperfections, whispered to her (positive) in unision with the wind and confirmed their attendance to her. The clouds were forming a veil of trust, through which rays of love were sneaking in! The raindrops were falling on the ground to dust down the fears and insecurities and the lightning was striking only to assure her how strong her relationship is.
One thing of which she was sure about- Tomorrow’s rainbow. She was sure that, like always, the rainbow would definitely reinforce the power of togetherness.
State of mind- He’s there with her. Mentally. Platonically. They belong together.

Patience. What patience?!

Day 5
It was a long anxious day today. She is writing this at 1:08 am, sipping tang and watching her favourite show on television and yawning. Fifth time! Sixth!
She cannot believe it has been five days only because it feels like forever. That reminds her that there is no Forever 21 here. She needs a retail therapy. Desperately. Shopping is all she wants to do right now. With him, off course.
So today she did not go out for a walk/run. Today she could not eat a healthy meal. Today she did not wake up on time. She woke up real late and no prize for guessing.. she woke up with a headache again. Oversleeping has its own shortcomings which she will never (deliberately) see coming! Ignorance is certainly bliss. Lazy-sad day combined with one more day of no hello-hi with her cutie. But thank God for parents. She is definitely blessed to have two sets of ammmaaazzzing parents.
So she finally got a BSNL SIM today but, forgot that her phone (iPhone. Yes!) does not support ancient big sized SIMs! So boohoo. But where there is a will, there is a way. She, somehow, spoke to him through someone else’s phone. God bless him! So in the middle of all the could nots, she had one 'I could.' And that outweighed all the could nots. She COULD talk to him!
Hearing him speak after such a long time was magical. If she had her way, she would have definitely given him a Dino hug (Remember Flintsones?). Hearing his voice certainly gave a sudden lift to her mood and her arms..up in the air.  This was definitely priceless.
Evening was spent socializing and dancing, wearing high heels! Well, I am starting to lose my young charm, she thought. She could hardly dance in the evening. Or wait, it must be because he was not there to dance with her on that romantic number that they first danced on , on their engagement. Couples are starting to annoy her now because he is not there.
State of mind- She is losing patience. Send her where he is! bleh!

Hello Insomnia!

Day 4
She didn’t want to leave the bed today. She had her celebrity moment when she felt like Hilary Swank from the movie- PS I love you. ‘I was planning on staying in bed and dying today’. Well. Not literally off course. Her neck, head and legs gave up. The little thing in her head literally kicked her conscious to get up and start another day without him in the house. *She is so used to him being around. Together they are like two wheels of a scooter.*
So she got up, picked an apple and made cold coffee. She cannot do without it. She loves cold coffee and off course him. She has never been without him for so long.
Anyway, so the day began. They say opportunities are everywhere. So in the ocean of shells, she started looking for her type of pearl. Her pearl. Say hi to advanced technology. Surfing websites is infotainment. And uploading pictures on Facebook is 'killtiment'. That's the good side to technology.
Television was a good support till now. But today, she just didn’t want to see its face. His face was what she was longing for.
'Arghh, I can totally do it. A few days more and he’ll be there.' That’s what she kept telling herself. A few days- 10 frigging days! Fly time fly. It flew like a monkey with its rear on fire when they were holidaying in Switzerland. And now, it is just the opposite.
And oh, technology should try spreading its wings towards the most neglected parts of the country. People are everywhere. And most importantly , he is there.
Technology disappointed her today! Airtel did. And BSNL works there where he is today. She always took BSNL as a vestigial ‘organ’ but not from today onwards. She will be buying a BSNL SIM soon! Lesson learnt- Nothing is in a name.
Four days without his physical presence and one day without hearing his husky voice! Right now, if anyone wants to know where her heart is, check where her mind is wandering! Right there! ❤️
Damn you technology.

State of mind- Hello sleepless nights. Sigh!

Realization.

Day 3
And sometime late mornings have a big fat disadvantage. Headache. And to every problem there are ten more problems. It was raining and the clouds seemed to be banging their heads with each other. 'Peace out weather,' she said annoyingly. Thank God for telephones. She is in constant touch with him. Wait, but why she wasn’t finding the rainy weather romantic at all? Well, why would she! This kind of weather demands eating steaming hot samosas/momos/ pakodas along with a mug full of cold coffee with your special someone. Go away rain! I don’t like you!, she said.
But well, she loves her phone, not because it’s an iphone 6 (Boasting, yes) but because it keeps them connected. She can call him whenever she wants to and crib about her broken nail and complain about the monkeys going insane on the rooftop. He’s pretty patient or so she believes. Pun intended.
Later in the evening, she got real bored and so she decided to eat. And then he said over the phone, "I’ll be going to the gym now after a run." She felt a sudden threshold of some more guilt and she was ashamed of herself for eating so much. Suddenly the Oreo biscuits and the Haldirams Aaloo bhujiya seemed to be staring right at her face. Not to forget the coke bottle that she held in her right hand. And chocolate..well she had it anyway. Nobody should dare to abandon that 'little' innocent piece(s) of chocolate.
So later in the evening, she went for an evening walk/run. Came back feeling good about herself, clicked some nice selfies, introduced them to Instagram and had a big mug full of happiness and fat- cold coffee. Oops.
State of mind- Trying real hard. He is constantly running around in her mind/heart.

Technology to the rescue!

Day 2
Woke up twice. At 5:45 am and 8:00 am. Guess her biological clock is in sync with the alarm on her husband’s alarm clock. She slept again only to wake up to her maid smashing the door bell. Since her over energised cells, fibres, neurons had done a major part of the homely chores a day before, she had nothing else to do. So she cooked. And ate..ate a little more and more and more and..pssstttt..more. Guilty? Yes. But she put the blame on Gerard Butler, Ashton Kutcher and Shahrukh Khan for indulging her into eating like a hungry pig. Yep. They are to blame, she convincingly said to herself. Guilty now? Nope.
State of mind- Counting days. "I can totally do it," she said, standing in front of the sparkling clean mirror in her room! :D
Courtesy- Technology.

Day 1 of 14 days.

The
Day 1
Packing- done
Uniform- crisp
Mind-restless
Heart-skipping beats
Day- gloomy
The only thing in her mind/heart/soul- two months into marriage and he’ll be gone for two weeks or so. Hell, no! She wasn’t prepared. She didn’t want him to go. But then she thought it’s just a matter of two weeks. The moment she saw him off standing at the door, of their still to be set-up house in an alien town, with her eyes doing a good job in holding back the tiny little droplets of salty water and her feet still managing to bear 56.5 (okay, 57 kgs) of her weight, she couldn’t help but clasp her teeth tightly so as to not show him her grumpy morning face oozing sadness.
He left. She came inside, not able to withhold the emotions. But for every emotion, there is a Cadbury chocolate and…a good amount of sleep.
She woke up feeling energetic and with that level of energy, she started doing up the house. It looked clean, she thought to herself! She was happy, thinking how happy her hubby would be seeing the house in a good condition. Finally!
Note- They had just shifted there. Shh don’t judge!
Day 1 ended with feeling low to feeling over energetic and falling asleep like a tired dog.
Before she went to the bed again at night, she developed a kind of guilt-happiness as she didn’t have to set an alarm the next day. Hello late mornings!
State of mind- It is going to be okay.
